Dieses Projekt verwandelt ein bislang wenig genutztes urbanes Dach in einen lebendigen sozialen und Freizeit-Ort, der dem Padelspiel gewidmet ist – einer der am schnellsten wachsenden Sportarten der Stadt. Indem Sport und Freizeit über der Stadt angesiedelt werden, fügt das Projekt der urbanen Skyline eine neue Aktivitätsebene hinzu und verwandelt ein ansonsten statisches Dach in einen dynamischen Ort für Bewegung und Begegnung. Das Design umfasst drei Padelplätze, umgeben von Sitzbereichen, Aufwärmzonen, Umkleidemöglichkeiten sowie einem Kiosk-Café, das direkt zu den Plätzen hin geöffnet ist. Obwohl es sich in erster Linie um eine Sportanlage handelt, schafft die Anordnung der Plätze ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen Spiel und Ruhe. Leichte Stahlkonstruktionen und transparente Umfassungen vermitteln ein Gefühl von visueller Offenheit und Verbindung nach außen. Vorgefertigte Elemente und modulare Einheiten verleihen dem Projekt einen pragmatischen und anpassungsfähigen Charakter. Über sein Programm hinaus fungiert das Projekt als Erweiterung der Stadt, als offene Plattform, auf der Sport und Alltagsleben miteinander verschmelzen.
This project transforms an underutilised urban rooftop into an active social and recreational hub dedicated to playing padel - one of the city’s fastest growing sports. By placing sports and leisure above the city, this project introduces a new layer of activity to the urban skyline, turning an otherwise static rooftop into a dynamic place for activities. The design consists of 3 padel courts surrounded by sitting spaces, spaces to warm up, changing areas and a Kiosk cafe that opens directly towards the courts. Primarily a sports facility, the layout of the courts balances play and pause. Lightweight steel structure and transparent enclosures sustain a sense of visual openness and connection to the outside. Prefabricated elements and modular units lend the project a pragmatic and adaptable character. Beyond its program, the project acts as an extension of the city, an open platform where sports and everyday life intersect.
