PULSE ist eine Studie zur Sanierung und Weiterentwicklung von vier Wohngebäuden im Berliner Stadtteil Neukölln.
Im Mittelpunkt des Konzepts stehen die Sanierung und Erneuerung der bestehenden Dachbereiche, in denen neue Wohnflächen und Wohnungen geschaffen werden sollen.
Ergänzend zu den Maßnahmen an den Dächern ist eine Aufwertung der Innenhöfe vorgesehen. Darüber hinaus sollen neue Aufzüge und Balkone ergänzt werden, um die Erschließung sowie die Wohnqualität für die Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner nachhaltig zu verbessern.
Die Studie untersucht, wie die behutsame Weiterentwicklung des Bestands mit den Anforderungen zeitgemäßen Wohnens verbunden werden kann und welchen Beitrag die Maßnahmen zur langfristigen Aufwertung der Gebäude sowie des Quartiers leisten können.
PULSE is a conceptual refurbishment study involving four residential buildings in the Neukölln district of Berlin.
The proposal focuses on the renovation and upgrading of the existing roof structures, where new residential spaces and apartments are intended to be created within the attic areas of the buildings.
In addition to the roof refurbishment, the study envisages improvements to the internal courtyards, while new lifts and balconies are proposed to enhance accessibility and improve the quality of living for residents.
The study explores how the careful development of the existing buildings can be combined with the requirements of contemporary living, contributing to the long-term enhancement of both the buildings and the surrounding neighbourhood.
